Make this Easy Pumpkin Crochet Scarf Pattern
This fun scarf curles on itself and hugs your neck. It is perfect for a beginner. Getting straight edges are not a requirement and you really get to practice your dcs and hdcs.
The last row is frilly which gives it fun and feminine charm.
This scarf is worked across the length. The first row needs to be tighter than the rest of the rows. Then, relax your body and use a bigger needle for the 2nd row onwards. Make it a little bit longer than you think it should be. As the scarf develops it seems shorter than first envisioned.
1. Chain as many as you like to get the desired scarf length. Use a smaller hook if you want a frilly scarf.
2. Change to larger hook. Single crochet in the back bump of each stitch across
3. DC in each stitch across
4. HDC in each stitch across
5. Repeat Rows 3 & 4 until you get the desired width
Last Row. (Chain 3. Sc in next stitch) repeat to end.
Fasten off and weave in ends.
