Simple Crochet Flower

Begin with a magic loop. 

Row 1.        18 sc in ring. Join with sl st into 1^st sc.

Row 2.       1 sc into same sp as sl st.  {ch 3.  Sk 2 stitches. 1 sc into next stitch}6 times, ending with sl st into 1^st sc. 

Row 3.       (Into next loop work 1 sc.  Ch1.  5dc. Ch 3. 1 sc)6 times.

Cut yarn and weave in ends.

Easy Crochet Star

Begin with a Magic Loop.

Row 1.  Ch 2.  9 hdc in loop.  Join with sl st to 2^nd ch of 1^st 2 ch.

Row 2.  (Ch 4.  1 sl st in 2^nd ch from hook. 1 sc in next ch.  1 dc in next ch.  Sl in next 2 stitches on circle)  5 times.  End with st st into first st in round.    

Cut yarn and weave in ends.

Crochet 25 chains.  Starting from 3rd chain on hook, make 5 dc in each chain to the end.  

Shape.

Crochet Butterfly Pattern

Stitches used

• Chain (Ch)
• Slip Stitch (Sl st)
• Double Crochet (Dc)
• 3 Chain Picot (3ch picot)  ch 3.  1sc in 1st ch.

1.        Ch 6.  Join with sl st to 1st ch.

2.       Ch 3.  1 dc into ring.  Ch2.  * 2dc, ch 2.* 7 times.  Join with sl st to 3rd of 1st ch 3.

3.       Sl st into next sp.  Ch3.  1dc.  ch 3. 2dc in same space. Ch 1.  *2dc. Ch3. 2dc in next space.   Ch1* around.  Join with sl st to 3rd of 1st ch 3.

4.       1 sl st into next sp.  1 sc in space.  *5 dc. Ch3 picot. 5dc in next space. 1sc in ch1 space* around.  Join with sl st to 1st sc.

Leave 8 inches of yarn to sew up.  Sew up one side from middle to top.  Sew up other side.
